De singleplayer-missie "All Ghillied Up" uit Call of Duty 4 werd een tijdje terug genomineerd als beste missie van het spel. Niet gek eigenlijk. De intense spanning, de sfeervolle spookstad Pripyat, de realistische omgevingen, de goede dialogen en de actievolle afsluiter vormen zeker weten het hoogtepunt van het spel.
Treyarch zal in World at War ook een soort snipermissie laten afspelen. Hierin speel je als Russische scherpschutter aan het Oost-Duitse front. Deze missie maakte me wel benieuwd.
Over de missie is al het één en ander aan de pers laten zien. Er werd het volgende over gezegd:
Citaat: | In deze missie speelde je met een Russische soldaat en had je een gewonde kameraad die je advies gaf. Dit was de introductie-missie van de Russen en het begon als Sniper-level, maar vereiste ook heel veel vluchten. De sfeer van deze missie was zoals in de film Enemy at the Gates. |

wow gaaaf man, die van CoD4 was zelfs zo goed dat ik niet zeker weet of ze het wel gaan evenaren...
Die spanning, toch weinig schieten vond ik zo gaaf in COD4 missie, die missie daarna met dat wegrennen vond ik veel minder, dat was lastig om al die golven af te slaan. |
